Our journey started with creating just a single candle out of pure curiosity. As a chemist, I was intrigued by the science of fragrances, but I quickly realized that pure science alone lacked the warmth and personal touch that was needed. My partner, an architect with a keen eye for design, balances the scale and brings to the table the required elegance to elevate an ordinary object into something extraordinary.

What began as a playful testing, soon evolved into a cherished collaboration. We found ourselves experimenting with various aromatic oils and designs, pouring our hearts into creating candles that were not only premium but also meaningful.

At Mouskos Candles, we take pride in the fact that every candle and label is meticulously designed and produced just by the two of us. From crafting unique fragrance blends to designing and producing the labels and packaging, our hands are involved in every step of the process. Our commitment to detail ensures that each candle is a true reflection of our dedication to quality and creativity.

We named our brand "Mouskos", a word from our local dialect that means "a delightful smell". This reflects on our mission to offer premium products at an accessible price point, by prioritizing quality over quantity, using local materials, and focusing on efficient production methods to create beautiful atmospheres for every environment and glaze them with a delightful smell!
